The other shape of love

Parents

I only get to see them mostly for 2 days in a week.
They don't call me everyday to check if I'm okay or to ask if I have had meal.
They don't exactly know what stuff I'm currently in the middle of at school.
We don't do video call like some of my friends do with their parents.
But we talk a lot in Whatsapp family group though, but still not that much.

It's me calling them when nothing happen to me, when I don't need anything from them, just to check where they are and what they do at the moment. That's totally fine. To me, this is how it's supposed to be.

My parents have given and continuously give me everything I need in life, I owe them so so much.
I know they love me and phone call doesn't happen to be their way of showing it.
There are thousand ways to love. People use different way to do it.
